Once you've run this, try navigating to your install folder, and opening data->settings.xml.
Locate this section:
And change the number 1 to 0. You can try changing this to other numbers, just depends on how many network interfaces your computer has.
Also, if you're enabling any of the items on the splash screen (Vive Trackers, antilatency, etc,) make sure their host software is running or the program will crash. I.E. SteamVR, Antilatency Service, etc.
